Short and Sweet Sunday Roundup

I hope you’re enjoying Memorial Day weekend!  Above all it’s important to remember all who gave their life while serving our country!  I am so grateful to all who have served and their families. Thank you so much for your service and sacrifice.

This weekend also symbolizes the beginning of summer!  I can’t wait to smell barbecue on the grill, relaxing long sunny days, and the feeling of excitement for vacation adventures.

As many of you know, my one and only precious daughter will be graduating from high school in just a few days! If you are a parent of a little, just know that once they start middle school, you blink and they’re graduating! Soak up every moment. I would appreciate your prayers this week. I’m so proud of the young lady she has become! We have a picture tradition that she no longer thinks is cute, haha 😂 I call it the kissy face picture! I promised I wouldn’t post the latest from her Baccalaureate Ceremony on social media but I said nothing about my blog which I don’t think she reads (fingers crossed)…so, here it is!

One more tradition my daughter & I share is listening to “Summertime” by Will Smith on the way home on the last day of school! What better song to kick off the summer! My hope is that one day she’ll look back on these traditions with love in her heart & create traditions with her children.  Do you have special traditions in your family?
