The Devil is in the Details

Although I love the movie Boondock Saints…I’m talking fashion details today. Before I share some some of the new additions to my closet, I want to apologize for not sending out the Sunday Roundup last week.  It is my favorite post to write each week but with school wrapping up and a senior about to graduate high school, I had to skip a Sunday.  I will round up my latest posts and Instagram looks this Sunday!  Thank you again for your continued support of Keeping It Short and Sweet.  Now to the fun stuff!

tuesday shoe day with t & J clutch

If you believe that if you give a girl the right pair of shoes, she can change the world, then these shoes are your game changer!  They are an investment buy for sure but they are worth every penny.  My first test for any pair of shoes is the teacher test.  If I can wear them for 8-9 hours while teaching and they still feel comfortable they are definitely keepers.  The leather that these shoes are made of is so soft and molds perfectly to your foot.  For those of us who are petite (I prefer petite over vertically challenged, haha) these little wedges give you height without feeling like you are wearing heals!  My last test for investment shoes is how many ways I can style them.  These wedges look great with jeans, shorts, skirts, and dresses!  They carry them at Nordstom so you can try before you buy.

Bonus…did you know that Nordstrom has curbside valet for online in store pick up purchases?  They will text you when you order is ready to be picked up.  Then at your convenience, you park in a reserved front row spot and they bring them out to your car.  For the love…sometimes it’s the little things!

me t & j clutch

I’m a sucker for just about anything with embroidered floral print and I have had my eye on this clutch for several months.  Pom Poms are everywhere lately and add a cute little detail to this purse.  T & J Designs is a family run company and they have so many adorable totes and clutches!  The one pictured above is $38.  I do not recommend upgrading shipping because it takes a while before it ships.  I say save the money!  You can wear a white tee and jeans along with this clutch and will look fabulous for almost every occasion this summer!

Do you have a favorite graphic tee?  I’ve collected several and I thought this one was so funny that I couldn’t resist!  The best part, this tee is on sale for $20 with an additional 50% off with the CODE: SPRING50 (making it a $10 steal)!  T & J Designs has a large collection of graphic tees…I am sure that you can find one that fits your personality perfectly!

What would your ideal graphic tee say?  Leave your ideas in the comment box!  Don’t forget to subscribe so you don’t miss a post.  Then check your inbox and for a confirmation email.  You can also support Keeping it Short and Sweet on Instagram @ShortandSweet_atx.  Have a wonderful Tuesday!
