Happy New Year!

I know many people make New Year Resolutions and I have been among them. However I can’t for the life of me remember a resolution I’ve made let alone kept.

What if this year we choose to live in the present. Enjoy every day for what it brings and what we learn from it. Reflect more and worry less. Choose to be kind.

It’s an attainable goal that will not only impact your life but also change the lives of those around you.

A new year doesn’t have to mean a new you. You are already perfectly made! That being said, setting goals for yourself that will make you feel good and surrounded by happiness are a fantastic way to start a new year.

Some of my Goals for this New Year:

  • Spend more time with my daughter as she will be off to college next year (even if it means a few minutes of my undivided attention)
  • Take a trip to a place I’ve never been (I’d love more than anything to go to London, France, Italy, Scotland, Australia…the list goes on). If I can’t make the trip happen this year, I’m at least going to start planning and saving).
  • Foster healthy relationships, make new friends, and cherish old friends
  • Take each day one day at a time…this is most likely the most important as it encompasses all other goals and allows each day to be a fresh start.

I hope that your year to come is filled blessings. There is no year that does not bring challenges but my hope is that they are few, we learn and become stronger because of them, and that the joy we experience outweighs any diffult times we face.

Thank you for joining me on this adventure of life and supporting this blog. Blogging was something I hadn’t even thought of until a few faithful friends encouraged me. I am astonished by how quickly it has grown and the number of people around the world who are readers. I’m truly thankful for you!

Keeping it Short & Sweet,

Kelli
