Hi friends! Those of us living in Central Texas have just turned on their heater for the first time this season. I know some readers live in places around the world that have been enjoying chilly weather for a while now. I thought I’d share some of my new favorites for fighting dry skin in the winter! Bonus-these also make perfect stocking stuffers.
A few years ago I received a gift for my birthday from one of my sweet friends that I absolutely fell in love with! It was a lavender soap infused sponge from Texas Scents. This fabulous sponge is extremely hard to find as it is only sold at certain H-E-B locations and it’s seasonal. It sells out in no time. Last year I literally bought 14 of these sponges to give as gifts & thought I’d have plenty to last through most of the year. This year, I can’t find them anywhere. The GREAT news is that I’ve found a similar lavender soap infused sponge that I like even better! Woohoo! This sponge is slightly larger, lasts at least 20 uses, and has a sponge side as well as an exfoliating side which works great for getting rid of any dry spots, leaving your skin soft and smelling amazing. They come in 2 scents, Lavender & Fresh & Clean. You can purchase them online and in store at Ulta for under $6
I love body butter and have found a new one that is reasonably priced, smells like amber, and is made with shea butter, aloe, and vitamins A, C, & E
• Sweet Fantasy – vanilla and caramel
• Endless Passion – coconut and guava
• Sensual Kiss – amber and woods
• Morning Whisper – aqua flower and citrus
ULTA currently has a promotion Buy 2, Get 2 free! Each jar is $14.50
I use a liquid form of coconut oil all year round under neath or mixed in with body butter or lotion. It is a natural and great for you skin and hair.
Now Solutions: Pure Fractionated Liquid Coconut Oil ($12.50 +10% off)
Whether you’re buying for a special person on your list or stocking up for you I hope you enjoy these products as much as I do! I’d love to hear your recommendations for keeping your skin moisturized and healthy during the winter as well as your go to stocking stuffers!
Keeping it Short & Sweet,
