Water, Water, and More Water

Making the switch from drinking little to no water to drinking 64 ounces minimum daily was challenging. Once I learned the benefits of drinking water, I dove in head first and now, I always have a YETI cup filled with water everywhere I go. I thought I’d share a few things I’ve learned to spice water up so that I don’t feel like I’m missing out on some of the other things I liked to drink.

Freeze Fresh Strawberries:
I cut & clean fresh strawberries & then put them in a Ziplock in the fridge. I throw them into my water in the morning and they give my water just a hint of strawberry flavor all day long! You can also freeze cucumbers or any other fruit and infuse your water the same way.

Sparkling Water:

I really missed drinking Dr. Pepper when I made the big water transition. Every now and then I still have one but not very often. A good friend of mine recently suggested La Croix Coconut Flavored sparkling water. I was skeptical because I’ve never liked sparkling water. However, this one is perfect! It has no artificial sweeteners, no sodium, and no calories.  The flavor is great with just a hint of coconut flavor. It’s not sweet. When I’m craving carbonation, this is my go to drink!

Hint Water:

Hint Water is a little difficult to find and is pricey. I first found it at Starbucks in their refrigerated section. It’s delicious! It has no artificial sweeteners or sugar. It is water with a hint of natural fruit flavor. You can find it at H-E-B in the water aisle or you can buy it on Amazon in bulk.

I hope you enjoy these ways to energize your water!

Keeping it Short & Sweet,

Kelli
