Thoughtfulness & Gratitude

Have you every received a hand written letter, thank you card, a surprise gift, or a random act of kindness?  It feels so good to open the mailbox and find a letter or card stashed between the bills and junk mail.  I have to admit, I was actually better at writing thank you letters for Christmas gifts, monthly letters to my grandparents, checking in with friends who weren’t feeling well, and following up on exciting events in my friend’s lives when I was in college.  If I could do it then, surely I can do more of it now.  My goal is to express my gratitude and be more thoughtful in my relationships with my friends, family, and co-workers.

Try Something New:

I would love to hear your thoughts!  Cut & paste the following into your address bar (last 3 digits are zeroes) or text KELLIMACK000 to 22333 your responses and I will post a word cloud with your answers tomorrow.  The poll will close tomorrow at 7:30 p.m.  For all of the teachers out there, you can create a poll on and have all students type in the answer to a question!  Once everyone has replied you can show them the word cloud with their answers.  What a fun way to actively engage your whole class, learn more about them, and generate a student led conversation.

I would love for you to join the thoughtfulness and gratitude mission with me!
