I’ve had several people ask me about my fitness routine and they’re always surprised that I do it all in my room! Not to mention it’s short & sweet.
I use the Fitstar Yoga App everyday. For $40 a year it gives me unlimited use of all of their yoga routines. My favorite in the morning is Down and Unwound (31 minutes). In the evening before bed I like Before Bedtime (16minutes). I’ve joined gyms & paid for yoga sessions I’ve never attended mostly because there’s never a class that works with my schedule. I literally roll out of bed and onto the yoga mat and am half asleep when I start but by the end I feel great! Last school year this was it as far as excercise beyond walking a lot during the school day.
Once summer break rolled around I felt that I needed to add 30 minutes of cardio because I wasn’t as active during the day. At the beginning of the summer I walked outside for 30minutes. That didn’t last long in this Texasheat for long, so I decided to invest in a portable elliptical machine from Amazon (Stamina In Motion $98). The first few days I used it I could barely walk I was so sore haha. Now I walk backward for 15 minutes and forward for 15 minutes.
That’s it! No more paying for classes that I don’t attend! I’m my own personal trainer and for all the single or busy moms out there, I hear you!
